 and Rapsody, featured on Kendrick Lamar's "To Pimp A Butterfly" among others, formed the band with Gary O’Keefe, who has extensive experience as an audio engineer, and the other members (Johnny Hoblin, Joe Sanders, Peter DeMaio, and Boris Palacios) collectively boast dozens of former bands and music degrees. Combining catchy melodies with darker lyrical content that addresses themes such as alienation and addiction, the band uses a fishhook-in-a-cupcake approach that rewards close bedroom-headphone listening, while still providing a raucous live show. With the release of the single and video for the song "We're Bound to Be Together," the band announces their arrival on the scene, and begins to build momentum towards their debut album "Small World," coming later this year.
