The Justice League has packed a whole lot in one hour and fifty-nine minutes. Along with the big-screen introduction of characters like Aquaman, Cyborg, and the Flash, fans got to see more action featuring Wonder Woman, Batman, and Superman hitting the big screen again. Between all the great moments and action, the movie also has a number of Easter eggs and references to other DC comics.

To introduce the villain known as Steppenwolf, the film shows a huge flashback featuring the heroic battle between all types of characters. If you look closely, you can spot some references to classic Gods and other DC heroes. There are multiple references to two Tim Burton movies, alluding to the rich history of Batman. Lex Luthor’s appearance in the end credits is huge and he mentions forming a similar group, which could be referring to the Legion of Doom. During a discussion early in the film, the Flash mentions that he knows sign language, but it’s actually only gorilla sign language. This is a reference to his classic enemy Gorilla Grood. Danny Elfman completed the score for the film and included two highlights that will have fans feeling nostalgic and excited at the same time. Gotham City was filled with multiple Easter eggs, plastered onto buildings in the background. This includes ACE Chemicals and Janus Cosmetics, two locations related to huge villains. During the closing moments of the film, Bruce Wayne uses his old manor to select the home of the Justice League, including a great line about having a table for the team. This ending is followed up by a mid-credits bonus scene. Watch to see all these Justice League Easter eggs you totally missed!
